What is xml element <lastmod> ? |
| This store the date on which the URL was changed, last time. The Date format must conform to the W3C DATETIME. The date must be written in the format YYYY-MM-DD: hour, minutes and seconds can be added too. This is an optional tag for sitemap.xml file. [Including the last modified date is supposed to save the SE the trouble of indexing a page that hasn't changed.
